Zimbabwe is blessed with spectacular scenery and excellent game viewing throughout its diverse land.
With improved economic stability, Zimbabwe is busier than ever this year. Zimbabwe has always been a one stop safari destination offering a broad range of authentic safari experiences. Nestled between South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique; Zimbabwe is home to one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the famous Victoria Falls.
Pristine wildlife areas of Hwange National Park, the Lower Zambezi, Mana Pools and Lake Kariba are wild and beautiful. Tourism and professional management has kept these areas nothing short of spectacular.
Hwange National Park, only a short distance from the Victoria Falls has huge concentrations of elephant and premier game viewing. Mana Pools is a walking and canoeing paradise, not to mention a UNESCO world heritage site. Lake Kariba and the house-boating available is excellent.
Matopos and the Great Zimbabwe Ruins are areas well worth visiting.

November 2017 Zimbabwe has had a rigorous political past but now the dust has settled and exciting times are to come. Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has resigned bringing an end to 37 years of rule. It will be uplifting to see Zimbabwe continue to shine as they did during difficult times and further restore it's charms and beauty.

Once-avoided, now must-visit.
This country’s beauty and bounty have been overshadowed by political unrest and economic collapse over the last few decades, but today, the government is finally stable, the overinflated Zimbabwean dollar is gone, and the prices are low. An international terminal at Victoria Falls Airport set to open in July will make it far easier to get to. There’s the spectacular Victoria Falls, the Zambezi, Unesco World Heritage sites like the granite landform Matobo Hills and the colonial charm of cities like Harare. The biggest draw, however, might be the abundance of game, including hippos and lions, on full view on water safaris or the old-fashioned way, by land, at upscale lodges like Bomani Tented Lodge in Hwange National Park. Watch this space - Disneyland in Victoria Falls? posted Jan 20th 2105
Yes - apparently a few days ago Zimbabwe’s Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Walter Mzembi announced that the Government was in negotiations for a $460 million project that would become ‘Disneyland in Africa’. Imagine the joy and extra excitement when taking the family to Africa!
