KIDS ON SAFARI & FAMILY ADVENTURES

Once upon a time ‘taking the kids’ to Africa was unheard of. But now the truth is African Expert spends a lot of time specialising in Family Reunions and designing itineraries to suit all members of the family no matter what their age.

These days children are well travelled and beyond spending too much time in the kids club – in fact...move over kids club; make way for Masai Warrior School and African Jungle Drives!

Many of the lodges in Africa go to great length to keep their program suited to ensure the children (and parents) are entertained, safe and happy whilst on safari.

Children of all ages adore animals and wildlife (look at the popularity of the movie Madagascar) hence Africa for children is inspiring, educational and most of all a dream come true. 

Africa is a great family destination.

​‘I took my kids on safari last year to Madikwe Private Game Reserve in South Africa. We did a lot of game viewing from the pool! We had zebra and impala drinking from the waterhole not even 20 metres from where we were swimming.  One daughter was very entertained by the tree squirrels on the pathway to our accommodation and the other totally thrilled to have seen three cheetah brothers on the last morning game drive’.
